Gazcard, new innovation from Pertamina
Pertamina has been issue Gazcard to implementing an electronic transaction models for payment.
Gazcard is the new generation of electronic payment system who adopted by Pertamina to following the growth of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) at this moment.
At the conference of Indonesian Information and Communication Technology Award (INAICTA) 2008 (August, 07th 2008) in Jakarta Convention Center, Mr. Susilo as a Vice President Business System and Information Pertamina Persero, Tbk., said that by using this system, Pertamina will make the consument more quick, easy, and also efficient to clearing their transactions.
For this time, Pertamina is only joint with Mandiri Bank and Bank Central Asia (BCA) as a partners to support the implementing of Gazcard system.
Mandiri bank has been determining that the consument can use the Mandiri prepaid as a prepaid card contactless to clearing the transactions at more than 120 oil station at Indonesia area and it will be increase by continously.
Consument of Mandiri Bank also can re-fill their Gazcard till maximum Rp. 1 million with balance minimum Rp. 10.000 and the card will be valid for 5 years. (yy)
