To cover SMS-traffic of “Idul Fitri” holiday 2008, PT Bakrie Telecom Tbk was prepared by increasing their capacity for Short Message Service (SMS) become to 150 million SMS per day.

Normally, SMS-traffic send by customer is around 30-40 million per day. At this moment, Bakrie Telecom was predicted that the SMS-traffic will send by customer be reaching 100 milllion per day.

Pengambil alihan 100%  saham Drayton Pte Ltd selaku pemilik 68,57% saham PT Indolakto oleh PT Indofood Sukses Makmur Tbk (Indofood), secara tidak langsung merupakan tindakan akuisisi saham PT Indolakto sebesar 68,57% oleh Indofood.

Dalam laporan keterbukaan informasi yang disampaikan pada Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) pada 23 September 2008 lalu, PT Indofood Sukses Makmur Tbk (Indofood) secara resmi mengumumkan aksi korporasi tersebut.
