Electricity subsidize for 2009 will be Rp. 60,43 trillion
Government and House of Representative (DPR)’s commission VII agree to determining amount of electricity sudsidize for 2009 Rp. 60,43 trillion by assuming 7% of electricity’s growth.
Government who representative by Minister of Energy and Mining, Purnomo Yusgiantoro said that without this sudsidize the growth of electricity is only 5,63% and by this subsidize the growth of electricity will be increase become to 7%.
To realize this 7% growth’s, Purnomo will doing some optimalization for gaz uses at 10 generator with 889 Billion of British Thermal Unit per Day (BBTUD). The generator will be optimized by government are consist of PLTGU-Gresik (220 BBTUD), PLTGU-Muara Tawar (250 BBTUD), PLTGU-Cilegon (80 BBTUD), and PLTGU-Tanjung Priok (120 BBTUD), PLTGU-Muara Karang (40 BBTUD), PLTGU-Belawan (25 BBTUD).
The others generator are South Sumatera System (90 BBTUD), PLTG-Teluk Lembu (30 BBTUD), PLTG-Aceh Timur (15 BBTUD), and East Kalimantan System (19 BBTUD) (www.mediaindonesia.com).
