90.000 contractors will be collapse
90.000 contractors company who handle some construction projects at this moment maybe will be collapse related by the global crisis, eventhough our government has been adjusting some contract-escalation with the current condition.
Now, Indonesia have most of 180.000 contractors company who handle some construction projects with 15 million of employees, includes the contractors company who owned by the government (BUMN).
For this year (2008), the government was targeted that the total contract projects who will be contribute by the government will reaching Rp. 150 trillion. Consists of the government’s contractors (BUMN) is around Rp. 60 trillion and for non-government’s contractors is around Rp. 90 trillion.
