Jamsostek was lossed Rp. 5.4 trillion
In a global financial crisis currently, there are so many individual and institutional investors have been loss theirs stock in stock market. For example, Jamsostek as a government state-own company (BUMN) claims that the stock price’s decrease also has been influence their investment, and the company has loss around Rp. 5,4 triliun on Oct 08, 2008.
The director of PT Jamsostek said that the company was invest their fund in a stock 18% (Rp. 11.16 trillion) from the total fund which have invest ability category which around Rp. 62 trillion.
Now, Jamsostek has been using 3 BUMN-banking to saving their fund, there are consist of Bank Negara Indonesia (BNI), 2.7 trillion, Bank Rakyat Indonesia (BRI), Rp. 3 trillion and Bank Mandiri is still less than 1 trillion.
Jamsostek’s target for net-profit was decrease from Rp. 1.1 trillion become to Rp. 985 milliar.
