10.000MW’s Projects Still Continue as per Schedule
Related by financial crisis at this moment, state-owned electricity company (PLN) who representative by Vice-Director of PLN, Rusdiantara said that the project fund to realize these big project (10.000MW’s projects) for electricity is not influence and still continue as per schedule.
Next year (2009), the company (PLN) will finishing three projects as a part of the big electricity projects of 10.000MW, there are consist of Labuan, Indramayu and Rembang, West Java.
Total financing needed to realize these big projects are around Rp. 58,7 trilliun and it will be consist of foreign exchange currency to the amount of US$ 4,5 billion and IDR currency to the amount of Rp. 17,3 trillion.
US$ 1.5 billion from the total of US$ 4.5 billion was signed, US$ 1.9 billion still negociate with some banking (Bank of China and Bank Export-Import China), and the negociation will finish at the end of this year (2008), while US$ 1.1 billion will be realize in the next year (2009).
For IDR financing, Rp. 14 trillion was signed and the balance Rp. 3.3 trillion hopely will be realize in the early year of 2008.
