Indonesia’s Real Estate Community Company has been propose to the Government of Indonesia to open the property’s ownership for the foreign investor as one of the solution to increase our currency was depreciate at this moment.

This property’s ownership hopely can be increase  some foreign investor to come here and invest their money with buying some property. This condition finally will also bringing some dollar currency to our property sector.

Head of Indonesian’s Real Estate Community Company, Teguh Satria hope that the government will change some regulation related to foreign property’s ownership in Indonesia (just example for 70 years property’s ownership).

Now, foreign investor can only 25 years for living permit in here and it can be continously for the next of 2 x 20 years.

Actually, for temporary our property sector is not really influence from the global crisis. It caused by our material building needed by the projects is around 90% from the domestic supply.

It will be different if the banking sector begin to increase their interest rate related by regulation of liquidities tightly from the Central Bank.
