‘Till October 2008, Net Profit Pertamina EP Rp. 18,41 Trillion
Net profit PT Pertamina EP who owned by state-own company, PT Pertamina (Persero) till October 2008 was reached Rp. 18.41 trillion.
This amount are increase more than 200 percent from the last year (2007). In 2006 PT Pertamina EP was booked net profit only Rp. 6.72 trillion and for 2007 the company was booked Rp. 9.02 trillion (www.mediaindonesia.com).
Actually, this performance was predicted and hopely the company will book net profit around Rp. 30 trillion till the end of this year (2008).
It means that the company will be contributing their income tax around Rp. 12.53 trillion to the government.
If it will be realize, of courses that PT Pertamina EP is the best performance company between the other companies who also owned by PT Pertamina (Persero) at now.
Growht of PT Pertamina EP production capacity was increased by persistantly from year to year. Since 2003 until 2008, oil was production by PT Pertamina EP has growing-up by significantly.
PT Pertamina EP is a subsidiary of PT Pertamina (Persero) in up-stream oil and gas sector, as a follow up of law No. 22/ 2001 implementation, on September 17th, 2005.
PT Pertamina EP has signed cooperation contract with executive agency for upstream oil and gas business (BP-MIGAS) to maintain former PT Pertamina (Persero) working area excluding Cepu and Randugunting Block.
By the signing of the cooperation contract, PT Pertamina EP henceforth is able to farm out its areas to other companies and carry out cooperation with other parties (www.pertamina-ep.com).
