Manado (2005-2008), US$ 174.6 was invested by foreign investment
To increase the economic growth, the local government of North Sulawesi provincial (Manado) was approved almost 42 foreign investment projects since 2005 till 2008.
According to Ridwan Zees as a Head of the Program Development Unit at the North Sulawesi Regional Investment and Cooperation Coordination Board (BKPMKR), currently the foreign investment was interest to invest the projects were mostly engaged in the fishery and tourism sectors.
